holy crap…. my girlfriend got a black throat monitor a couple months ago. He just over 3 feet long, but doesnt weigh very much… After seeing that big one, wow. She knew how big they got…. but i didnt. Thats just nuts.
thats bs, it’s the same with snakes, you should lightly peel the skin but if the live skin goes with the dead skin or it pulls a bit you should leave it. if you leave it too long it can get infected. and same if you pull it to soon.
well, its not that it hurts but it makes it very lazy, and it wouldnt do it himself.
You NEVER peel the skin thats coming off a lizard from its shed, no matter how big or how tough it is. It still hurts no matter the size they are. Just let them get it off themselves.
