What if there was a way to detect if a baby was left in a parked car within the first 3 minutes? Whether it be through cameras or actual people monitoring the cars.Do you think this would stop the senseless deaths of infants each year?

I don’t think technology is the answer here. I read a good suggestion somewhere, which was to put one of the kid’s toys or articles of clothing on the passenger seat next to you / on top of your purse or bag.

Worn by the child, the cartoon animal-shaped transmitter sends a constant signal to the receiver, which is held by the adult. The signal is adjustable – from a distance of 6 to 30 feet, so when the child goes beyond the set distance, the adult’s receiver starts to beep, letting them know that the child is starting to wander off.
