The new video monitor is a new design with a new feature set. The video monitor uses digital 2.4 GHz technology and features remote activation of soothing music and sound effects and a night light from the handset receiver to the transmitter base. The handset also features a 60mm diagonal color LCD screen. The image is supplied by a camera in the base. The base camera is also capable of night vision.
